The HereFlow sensor is designed to support navigation where GPS is limited or unavailable, but performance depends on lighting, surface texture, mounting, flight height, firmware setup, and correct calibration.
The HereFlow optical flow sensor is a compact optical flow and lidar module for UAVs, drones, and robotics systems using ArduPilot or PX4. It helps provide horizontal movement estimation in environments where GPS signals are weak, unavailable, or unreliable.
The module combines a PMW3901 optical sensor, an ultra-small lidar module, and a built-in IMU. It communicates via CAN, making it suitable for compatible professional drone setups that require stable low-altitude positioning support.
